INGENIUM Ambassadors 2026/27: Tell the story of INGENIUM from your perspective

Would you like to raise awareness of INGENIUM from a student’s perspective and bring your own communication ideas to life? The INGENIUM Ambassadors Call 2026/27 offers students at participating INGENIUM universities the opportunity to develop their own communication project and showcase the stories, people, and experiences surrounding the European university alliance. The application deadline is October 18, 2026.

What do INGENIUM Ambassadors do?

INGENIUM connects ten European universities. Students experience the alliance in various ways, such as through international mobility, Blended Intensive Programs (BIPs), events, or joint learning opportunities. As an INGENIUM Ambassador, you’ll share these experiences and show other students the opportunities INGENIUM offers. To do this, you’ll develop your own communication project, which you’ll carry out from November 2026 through May 2027 in collaboration with your university’s local INGENIUM Office. You can focus on a single format or combine different ideas.

Possible formats include, for example:

  • Social media: Reels, short videos, and Stories for Instagram or TikTok
  • Stories from everyday student life: interviews, testimonials, podcasts, or photo essays
  • Creative informational formats: infographics, explainer videos, or short documentaries
  • On-campus activities: Presenting INGENIUM at university events, informing other students, or helping to organize your own initiatives

Contributions can be published via the HKA’s communication channels and through the central INGENIUM channels.

Who can participate, and how does the application process work?

This call is open to bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students who will remain enrolled for the entire duration of the project. You can apply on your own or together with another person from your university. Prior experience in communication, journalism, or content creation is not required.

What benefits does the program offer you?

As an INGENIUM Ambassador, you’ll gain practical experience in communications, further develop your own ideas, and build connections within the European university network.

Another component of the program is a three-day job-shadowing visit to another INGENIUM partner university. During this visit, you’ll learn about the university’s communications work firsthand and collaborate with the local team on an article about INGENIUM. Up to 1,000 euros per team member is available to cover travel, accommodation, and meals. The funds are administered through the INGENIUM Office at your home university. The study abroad placement depends on available funding and coordination between the universities; participation in the Ambassador Program is generally possible even without traveling abroad.

How does the application process work?

To apply, submit an online form for your project. In it, describe your idea, the planned formats and activities, the frequency of implementation, and, if applicable, your team. You’ll also indicate whether you’re available to visit a partner university and which destinations you prefer. Additionally, you’ll need to provide a sample of your communication work. This can be a previously published piece or a sample created specifically for the application, which you’ll submit as a link.
