GHD – Commission for the Enhancement of University Teaching
The Office of the Commission for the Enhancement of University Teaching (Geschäftsstelle der Studienkommission für Hochschuldidaktik, GHD) is responsible for all universities of applied sciences of the federal state of Baden-Wuerttemberg and is assigned to the President of Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. The GHD is in charge of developing and organizing further education in the field of higher education didactics for professors and lecturers at universities of applied sciences in Baden-Wuerttemberg. Its further tasks include instigating and managing research projects in the field of higher education didactics as well as encouraging an exchange of teaching experience. Higher education didactics stands for various measures, not only for the curriculum, teaching materials and methods, but also for the organization of degree programs and examination procedures.
