Center for Ethical Matters in the 21st Century
The Centre for Ethical Issues in the 21st Century (ZEF21) is responsible for all state and church universities of applied sciences (HAW) in the state of Baden-Württemberg and is assigned to the rector of Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences.
Questions open doors – hasty answers close them. ZEF21 creates space to reflect on and discuss the major ethical issues of our time. The aim is to strengthen academic discourse and make ethical and philosophical topics accessible and understandable to everyone. ZEF21 invites the public to events, offers an ethics academy for universities and actively participates in debates about the future through its publications – providing inspiration for anyone who wants to join in the discussion.
