The European Alliance for Innovation (EAI) has appointed Prof. Dr. Matthias Wölfel, Director of IIIX, as an EAI Fellow for his scientific achievements and many years of commitment. The Institute is delighted for Prof. Dr. Wölfel to receive this special award!

The Institute for Intelligent Interaction and Immersive Experience (IIIX) is delighted that institute director Prof. Dr. Matthias Wölfel has been recognized as an EAI Fellow.

The European Alliance for Innovation (EAI) thus recognizes his outstanding scientific contributions in the fields of engineering and technology development, as well as his long-standing engagement within the international EAI research community.

With over 250,000 members in more than 160 countries, the EAI is the world's largest open society for information and communication technologies. It supports researchers through international conferences, open access publications, innovative collaboration tools and a strong, interdisciplinary network. The aim is to make research more transparent, inclusive and visible and to promote individual progress through collaborative exchange.

Prof. Dr. Wölfel is also involved in EAI as Editor-in-Chief of the journal EAI Endorsed Transactions on Creative Technologies. In this role, he is driving the realignment of the journal's content, with a focus on artificial intelligence, immersive media and creative technologies.

The appointment as EAI Fellow underlines not only his professional excellence, but also his contribution to the promotion of open and collaborative science on an international level.
