The certificate application form is integrated into the general HKA website. The general data protection agreements of the HKA website can be found at: www.h-ka.de/datenschutz.
We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations as well as this data protection declaration. All personal data that is collected and processed by us for the issuing of certificates are protected against unauthorized access and manipulation by technical and organizational measures.

The HKA uses the data provided or entered and verified for issuing the certificates.

Data collection
When issuing certificates, we will collect, store and process the personal data from you as listed below. This happens for the purpose of issuing the certificates and checking the grades of the submitted seminars. The legal basis is Art. 6. (1) Section a) (consent) and e) (processing to fulfill the university's tasks) of the GDPR.

Personal data of applicants:
Last name
First name
Gender
Date of birth
Matriculation number
University e-mail address
Grades of the submitted seminars of the Studium Generale
If applicable, grades/details of submitted seminars taken externally or in the faculties for recognition in a certificate

Duration of data storage
The applicant's data will be deleted after the process of issuing the certificate has been completed, but no later than 3 months after the application has been submitted.

Right to information as well as to rectification or deletion and data transferability
The applicant has the right to information free of charge about his/her personal data stored in connection with the application. The applicant has the right to rectification, deletion and blocking of his personal data stored in the context of the issuing of the certificate. Further consideration of the application is then no longer possible.

You can withdraw this consent at any time with future effect and without giving reasons by informing us of your revocation at (internationalprogram@h-ka.de). In the event of revocation, we will delete your personal data immediately. The withdrawal of consent means the termination of your application.
