Additional funding

If the following requirements are met, participants have the opportunity to apply for a separate application ("real cost application") to the IO for a grant of up to EUR 15,000 per semester / EUR 30,000 per academic year for additional costs incurred during their mobility abroad:

  •  Participants with a GdB of 20 or more,
  • or a proven disability, due to which there is an additional financial need,
  • or a chronic illness (physical or mental).

as well as

  • Participants who take their child/children with them during the entire stay abroad
