Senate
The Senate is one of the governing bodies of our University, along with the Senior Management and the University Council. It decides on matters of research, teaching, studies and further education, unless these are assigned by law to one of our other central bodies or to our faculties.

Elected members, voting
The term of office for elected members generally runs for four years, the current term runs from Sept. 1, 2023 to Aug. 31, 2027. The term of office for student members runs for one year, from Sept. 1 to Aug. 31 of the following year.
