The Mechatronic and Micro-Mechatronic Systems program is an international two-year study program funded by "Erasmus Mundus", which offers the opportunity to study for a Master's degree in at least two universities in Germany, France, Spain, Egypt and Russia. The study of mechatronics is an interdisciplinary field of engineering. It combines the three disciplines of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science. This combination makes the study particularly diverse and exciting. You gain a broad spectrum of knowledge and an excellent basis for the professional world.

In the Master Mechatronics program, the focus is on scientific and technical knowledge in the fields of mathematics, engineering mechanics, heat transfer, numerical computer-oriented methods, micromechatronics and mechatronic systems. You will also learn basic skills for the development of individual components and systems in the field of electronics and software, also for the automotive sector. The master's program is complemented by basic skills in leadership and human resources.

One degree - two degrees

With the Dual Degree Program, you will study at both UMP in Malaysia and Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. After successfully completing their studies, students receive two bachelor's degrees - one from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and one from UMP. With this, you can really convince internationally.

The admission requirements for Malaysia are identical to the requirements here in Germany. The costs incurred for studying in Malaysia are comparable to studying in Germany. The study program lasts 9 semesters.

Double degree ENSMM France
German-French Master's Program

With the Ècole Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et des Microtechniques (ENSMM) in Besançon

In this program, you will study both at the renowned ENSMM in the French city of Besançon and at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. You will receive two degrees after successfully completing your studies - a master's degree from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and the French Diplôme d'Ingénieur from l'ENSMM University of Applied Sciences. Especially in the German-French border area you have so very good chances on the job market, but are also in demand internationally by your intercultural competence.

Please note that you can only participate in this program if you were previously enrolled in a bachelor program at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. North America Bachelor Program Canada/USA
Study in Canada or the USA

Write your bachelor's thesis in North America

In this program you will write your bachelor's thesis at a partner university in North America, e.g. in Toronto (CAN), Ontario (CAN) or New York (USA). You will also attend lectures and courses. In total, the program lasts 10 months.

The program is offered in the study programs:

The study visit follows the 6th semester in Karlsruhe in two semesters. The study program thus lasts a total of 8 semesters. The application should be made approximately in the 4th semester.

UTBM Exchange Program
Erasmus semester in the Master

Exchange program with the Université de Technologie de Belfort/Montbéliard

The Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, in cooperation with the faculty "Energie et Environnement" of UTBM, offers Master students the opportunity to spend a semester abroad in Belfort/France. The exchange takes place within the framework of the Erasmus program and is scheduled for the 2nd master's semester.
