Experience Meets Future: Welcome to Alumni Mentoring!

Our mentors have personally navigated the journey from university to the German job market. Having successfully made this transition, they now share their industry expertise, personal insights, and valuable networking tips with our international students. The WeCare Connect Mentoring Program supports international students on their path into professional life in Germany, with a focus on personal exchange, honest feedback, and practical guidance. Through the transfer of knowledge and shared experiences, we help mentees turn their academic achievements into concrete career opportunities, strengthening both their professional and personal development.

How does a mentoring program work?

The key features of our WeCare Connect program are
+ Individual support: Each mentoring tandem pairs a mentor (HKA alumni or an experienced professional) with a student mentee. The mentee receives guidance on career goals, decision-making, and skills development.
+ Sharing of experience: Mentors provide insights from their specialist knowledge, industry expertise, and practical experience.
+ Voluntariness and trust: The mentoring relationship is built on openness, mutual respect, and clearly defined expectations.
+ Time limit: Mentoring relationships are structured to last four to six months, ensuring focused and meaningful support.
