The 'computing center' (Rechenzentrum, RZ) of Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences is primarily a competence and service center for all aspects of the infrastructure for information supply and processing, digital communication and the use of new media. It is divided into the two departments IT Applications (ITA) and IT Systems (ITS).
Our range of services is composed of identity management, the communications infrastructure, support for studies and teaching, provision of workstations as well as collaboration support. For more information, please see the "Service Portfolio" section (login required).
Please attend the introductory IT-event of the computing center (10.09.2021). We will tell you about the most important IT-services and IT-infrastructure and provided by the HKA.

The user advisory service of the computer center is the first point of contact for students of Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences for questions regarding the use of IT services.
The first point of contact for employees regarding the use of IT services is the IT administration of the respective faculty or institution. The contact details of the IT administration can be found in the corresponding basic services flyers.
